Product Management Professional | Data Enthusiast

Personal Background

My curiosity about how people interact with technology began during my time at UC Berkeley, where I studied Cognitive Science. I was fascinated by how technology can both shape and reflect human behavior, sometimes in empowering ways, other times in unintended ones. That intersection of psychology and technology continues to inspire the core question I ask myself throughout my career: How can I build solutions that aren’t just functional, but also purposeful, meaningful, and impactful in people’s daily lives?

To answer that question, I turn to data. Data helps me connect the dots between what users do and what they need. Completing a Master’s degree in Business Analytics / Data Science, I’ve developed the tools and techniques to bring both qualitative and quantitative data into every stage of product development. Whether it's measuring performance, mitigating risks, or prioritizing features, data grounds my decisions and gives me the clarity to move forward with confidence.

As a retired Division I athlete, success wasn’t just about personal performance; it was about how we communicated, supported each other, and pushed collectively toward a shared goal. That same team-first mindset has followed me throughout my career. Every successful product I’ve worked on has been the result of strong collaboration, across design, engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success. Whether it's navigating tough trade-offs, celebrating wins, or learning from setbacks, I’ve found that the best outcomes come when diverse perspectives are heard and respected, and when the team is rallied around a clear vision.

Outside of work, I thrive on movement and the outdoors. I spend my downtime time training for half/full marathons, half Ironmans, hiking, swimming, Master's water polo, and walking my 1-year old rescue pup, Mudd. I am a coffee enthusiast, mental health advocate and part-time artist. Check out my art here www.madzi.co
